Hello Again

Thank you for checking back. I just wanted to show a new pictures. This is Peach an English Pointer I look a little like her, but after seeing me next to her, the rescue can see greyhound in me too. Notice my longer slender snout. I do like to run or go jogging when the weather is nice. But I have to be leashed while I run. Well its time for my afternoon nap. Hound-y Playfulness, Rox

My day...

What a fun day! It was all about me today. An IBR volunteer came out to meet me today. This is what she had to say about me:

I am a fun girl. Full of energy and just as much love! I have no shortage of kisses to give.

I kept play bowing with everyone fur and non fur people alike! She brought her IBR Pointer with and she and I had a blast! Pictures to follow soon.

I have a lot of energy, so a home with another friendly dog would probably be the best. I have a fur-brother here. But where I am living now when the weather is nice my dad takes me running. I really enjoy that. So an active home with someone give me attention and play with me is what I need. So if I'm an only dog I will need a VERY active furever home with or without children. I'm not picky, just let me love, cuddle, and play.

I did nuzzle the volunteer today. But I was very polite, I did not jump on her or put my paws in her lap. I waited like a good girl and let her pet me. I gave her tons of kisses too. I love to give kisses. The 11 year old boy that was here hugged me and loved me and I returned it right back to him. So I am good with kids as young as 1 and through 11 yrs. So I am very kid friendly!

After meeting me and talking to a few people IL Bird Dog feels I am probably Pointer/Greyhound X. My face is more like a Greyhound, but I have pointer markings and my body is more like a Pointer. But I did have a Beagl-y woo-roo, but Pointers are known to WOOO WOOO too!

Welcome!

Hello, I'm Miss Roxy, but you can call me Roxy. I am a very pretty Greyhound/Pointer X. I live with a very nice family right now and I am great with kids, however they feel I would do better in another home.

They have a little one (non fur kid) and another little one on the way. I am very gentle with kids as you can see from my pictures.

I have a lot of energy and a family that is active would work best for me. Maybe a family that goes hiking or running.

An IBR representative is coming out to see me this week. So she will update my blog shortly.

Oh, I am told to let you know I am up to date on shots, spayed, know basic obedience, and IBR is going to micro-chip me. Wonder what that is? I'm told its a very good thing to have done.
